‘Carpathia, food from the heart of Romania’ has been awarded a Silver Feather by The German Culinary Academy in 2021.

A wonderful book that opens up a fascinating world of kitchens for the reader, which tends to be underestimated in our part of the world because it is unknown. The recipes are clearly structured and very attractively illustrated. With a clear structure, nothing distracts from the actual purpose of the book: be inspired and cook. A solid book for anyone wanting to get closer to Romanian cuisine. You often look in vain for many recipes, such as a lamb terrine, stuffed grape leaves or walnut confit. Here they are lovingly gathered.
